The main aspects of the conference theme "Design and Management of Highly Reliable Networks and Services" are reflected in the mandates of two periodical publications that are cooperating with DRCN 2003 to emphasize these topics and encourage high quality papers in these areas. Authors of selected papers on Design of Survivable Optical Networks will be invited to submit a revised and extended version for publication in Optical Networks Magazine. Authors of selected papers on topics of Network Management will be invited to submit a revised and extended version for publication in the Journal of Network and Systems Management. In addition it has been traditional for the IEEE Communications Magazine to publish a summary report of the DRCN conference. Links to Related Journals:
